We are live!
Welcome to the new Max Comley Racing website!
Every week I will be writing a blog with what has been going on in the yard, entry’s, results, pictures and general discussion.
So what have we been doing since racing stopped?
Since racing stopped mid march, we’ve been keeping ourselves busy w
ith plenty of breakers and problem horses. All of our 4yo’s continued their education and the bumper horse
s learnt to jump so they are well educated when they come back into work. The older form horses got turned out for a early summer holiday and are all looking very well and ready to come back into work in the next few weeks. Its been great to see the flat racing back on our televisions the past few weeks, and National hunt racing will be welcomed with open arms from Wednesday and we are very much looking forward to point to pointing to resume in October.
A global pandemic was never going to be easy, but the ‘corona season’ hasn’t all been doom and gloom… we’ve had plenty of spare time to catch up on jobs, pressure wash and disinfect stables, prepare for more horses to come in to work, and improve the yard, but the thought of having the stables full and more horses looking over the doors soon is a exciting one. We have also been growing and improving our syndicates…
Excel Racing is a new syndicate. Excel Racing is a affordable and extremely well run syndicate that have 3 exciting form horses that will be coming to MCR. Perishing Missile, Cranbrook Causeway and Dara’s Present are 3 well bred recruits that will all be on a racecourse before Christmas. Please get in touch with Tom Jones on 07442185091 to get involved.
Our in house syndicate ‘The Jump On Board Syndicate’ have 3 horses to go to war with this season. Cloudy Joker, Knockaderry Flyer and BitOfBlinding. There are limited shares remaining in all 3 horses and Louis Gill has done an amazing job of running the syndicate for 2 years with plenty of sucess. Contact Louis on 07455189143 to get involved! https://www.jumponboardracing.com
We are also looking forward to the sales starting up again and buying plenty of 3yos and older horses too.
The yard is now re opened so please get in
touch if you would like a socially distant tour, to see any of our horses, or interested in getting involved.
Thank you for reading and i hope you enjoy the new MCR website
Take care, stay safe.
